To everyone who's more familiar with the whole franchise and not just the majors... Since I need to pay more attention to the minors, which prospects are buzz-worthy? I've heard good things about José Tabata and Jamie Romak, for example... what new names can I expect to see on TV in the future?

Other teams have guys like David Price and you will hear more on Cameron Maybin in the future.

Kid named Wieters. You may have heard of him.

Split time between High A and AA ball this year, and right now, he probably has a 50-50 shot of getting a September call-up from the O's.

DL made some of the DUMBEST baseball moves in sports history. If you look at the stats, drafting Moskos over Weiters may take the cake (worst than A-ram trade, worst Herges for Chris Young and then CUTTING Herges who ended up closing later in the year for the Giants at a time when we had a few roster spots to fill that were filled by a bunch of freaking bums). The way things are going now, we will be fortunate IF Moskos can even make the big leagues period. Weiters has MVP written all over him. It is truly sickening.

The worst thing about the Weiters thing is that we're not talking about hindsight. It's not like we were indifferent to, or for drafting Moskos when it happened. Most of the fans were ticked that we weren't taking the stud catcher because we took a stinkin' relief pitcher! And now here it is such a short time later and Weiters is one of the best prospects in baseball and Moskos may never even make it up here.

Did anyone ever notice that Littlefield's eyes were way too close together????
Just an observation attached to perception.

I've heard good things about a SS named Brian Friday. I love that because I NEED to hear Vince Lescheid play the Dragnet theme when he comes to bat. Do they still do that?
