Mrs. AZBF and I celebrated our 24th anniversary with a night at the ball yard. Despite the final score we thoroughly enjoyed ourself. Got 60 dollar seats for 25 bucks and plowed our way through a bag of Spitz dill pickle seeds. No we did not make it on the Kissing Kam. Damn. I don't know if the scoreboard at PNC is HD but if it is then you know how great it is. The HD scoreboard and the big airplane hanger is something else.

Oh yeah, the game......................

Hererra should be sent to Indy immediately if not sooner. He just plain sucked. As did just about everyone else. However, despite giving up the winning runs, Jason Davis threw the ball well. Walks, walks and more walks. It was the difference in the game tonight.

Perhaps the wildest rundown I have ever witnessed on the play that Meintky got the putout at the plate.

On a plus, this team really never quits. Gotta give them some props there.

I am going to keep this short. I have to be at the airport at 430 to head to Houston for the JO National dive meet. Hope we get there ok. It seems there is a tropical storm supposed to hit Houston about the time we get there. Should be interesting.

Hope the LaQuinta Inn has some computers somewhere to check in on the Bucs.

I had a great time tonight. That's why I went to the ball game tonight.

Az: Congrats on the anniversary and good luck with the weather in Houston. I hope that it is an indoor pool.

Too bad the game was so bad. The Pirates pitching was horrid.

Good luck to Sam - and the La Quinta is a great hotel. They will have computers, maybe even for use at little cost.

Thanks for the game report, Az. Game reports are always much appreciated by those of us who seldom see regular season games in person or on tv. Happy anniversary and stay safe in Houston!
