Today is the 3rd?

I hope Ian has a nice game. We're on WGN today. I wonder why this was the only game televised on WGN.

Line up is really starting to look good...minus Rivas, of course.

Ian Snell needs a therapist.

I know the Bucs are winning 2-0 but Zambrano has the ability to close the door and Snell's pitches are laying in the zone waiting to be crushed.

I have lost all confidence in Snell this season. I hope he figures out what's wrong? I was hoping he would anchor this staff for a few years.

Ian pitched well the last five innings against the Rockies. I was hoping that trend would continue.

Chet, haven't seen you in ages! Then again I don't read that many threads. Hope you've been well.

Cubs announcers implied that Doumit did not make an effort on the wild pitch. Bob Brenley picked on Pearce for his throw from left, too.

Thanks Ollie. I just got very busy this summer and didn't get to see as many games as I wanted to and I wasn't around here. I think the trade deadline got me back into the groove. As I type this Nady just hit a three run home run to put the Yankees up by three.

Pearce isn't an outfielder and OMG, Moss is one and just absolutely blew that one in left.

Great scene in the dugout watching the look on Adam's face. Gotta like some of these new Buccos. They have spunk.

I have an idea. Let's get rid of all the garbage from the past regime. We already dumped Bullington. Now get rid of Sean Burnett. There is no way this guy should be facing anyone in the eighth inning of a tie game No way. I have liked what John Russell has done with this team, but he is off on this one. Hansen pitched pretty good. I would rather see him face Daryle Ward then see Sean Burnett anywhere near a rightie Time to make a clean sweep of this organization.

I agree. Sean Burnett throws cream puffs up there....no way should he have been pitching in the 8th. But, on the bright side, it's nice to see Moss and Andy get their first home runs with the Buccos. Better days are ahead now that we have a GM with a functioning brain.

I think that what Huntington is doing is ridding the Pirates of the deadwood what has plagued the team for the past couple of years. Remember when Burnett was upset that he didn't make the team out of spring training and Huntington was highly criticized for it? He must know more than he was given credit for. He hasn't and won't come out and say it, but he has a more realistic view of where the Bucs are in terms of talent than most fans and is working a plan to upgrade it before our very eyes. Did anyone notice that Chris Duffy is no longer part of the organization? I also find it impressive that McCutchen is not the only name being mentioned as a "star" in waiting anymore.

I said the exact same thing when JR made the change. Let the new guy pitch for crying out loud. He hasn't thrown in at least three or four days. The lefty righty thing gets to be a bit much after a while.
