That's the word I keep hearing from stories about this trade.

The Pirates want more players in the hope that gives them a better chance of getting a player that will help down the line. I understand it and it's a calculated risk. Get four prospects and hope one or maybe even two end up being serviceable rather then take a guy like Austin Jackson and only one arm when now you have only two chances to succeed.

I think it shows how bad the front office thinks the organization is depth-wise.
