Bob Kipper is 44 years old.. maybe we can pry him from Greenville. I always liked guys who throw left handed and bat right handed. Sign him, maybe Chris Stynes.. we might win another twenty games.

It was 4-zip when I left work. Arrived home and logged on, and it's 6-6????

Unbelievable.

Except that it is believable.

Problem: who pitches if you send Snell down. What a mess.

Clearly the Pirates do not have good young starters in the upper minors. Every John Van benschoten start is a reminder of this fact.

I understand that Snell will start, because the horrible truth is that the Pirates just do not have anybody who can be expected to do better than 3 innings, 6 hits, 5 runs allowed.

U-G-L-Y.

First game I've made it to since my journey to PNC last summer, and I had a blast.

Snell was terrible.
The Bay HR was monstrous.
Osoria and Grabow were very good coming out of the pen.
Nate's running-toward-the-CF-wall catch was huge.
