He was on pace for 27 K's if the manager wouldn't have rushed to pull him out of the game

What an awful line.

Has anyone seen him pitch this year? I'm wondering if he's still pitching like a little girl (ie afraid to challenge hitters).

Rockies beat-writer, Tracy Ringolsby, labeled Kippie's start as "officially the worst starting pitching performance in franchise history". For a franchise that has thrown out guys like Butch Henry, Masato Yoshii, Mike Saipe and Greg Harris, that's saying something!

I about had a coronary when I saw the title of this thread! I thought we had picked him up and he was starting for us against the Astros this week!

I'm not so certain he isn't...we just gave him Snell's jersey and sent him out for the 1st inning today.
