Andy LaRoche, his bat has never followed through and his defense is what kept him as a mainstay in the Pirates lineup, until Pedro's arrival. He would be a valuable infielder for someone possible teams : Detroit (Brandon Inge's injury), Florida (Jorge Cantu is on the move), Cardinals (Inconsitent play at 3rd and 2nd), Mets (need a utility infielder due to continue DL)

Ryan Church, was only a rental player, produces either an RBI or strikeout each time up. Teams with interest: Rays (looking for outfielder), Padres (OF is high on trade list), Yankees (looking for a bench player, could be another Hinske like deal).

Octavio Dotel, wish the Bucco's keep him. He has been a fell good story with a career turn around year. Many teams are asking about the fireballer. Possible suitors: Red Sox (looking for upgrades), Tigers (Maybe could be a two player deal with LaRoche), Twins (searching for bullpen pieces), Mets (Have increased pursuit this past week for Dotel.)

Paul Maholm and Zack Duke are likely to be traded, Maholm due for some serious cash and we will see if the Front Office stays true to their "days of trading away players for minor leaguers and cash cuts are over."

I doubt the value of either LaRoche or Church is high and I don't want to give up on Andy just yet.

Trading Dotel would probably be a good move if the return was good enough, but I'd hate to lose him since he's been a good addition to this team.

At this point I'm sure Maholm and Duke will be traded at some point by 2012, so why not now? I'm resigned to trading either of them. Let it be.
