I don't get why Morgan is starting over Michaels.
If it was up to be i would start Michaels and use Morgan in either a pinch hit or pinch running situation because of his speed.
He's one of the fastest guys in the league and hes not that great of a hitter.

I guess they want to see if Morgan can be a major leaguer or not. He has shown some ability but I think if want to win tonight then Michaels is your man.

It's amazing our starters have walked the AL pitchers THREE times now.

Why can't guys throw strikes? I just don't get it. Is it really that hard?

Jack Flash picks up two throwing errors on balls that I thought were very catchable.

I'll go one further and suggest the only use I would have for Nyjer would be in the pierogie race.

Duke has 54 pitches after 3 innings.

There is little point in letting guys rot on the bench. If you want them to perform when you call on them to pinch hit, then you've got to give them an occasional start to keep them fresh, particularly if you're talking about a guy like Morgan who has little Major League experience. On top of that, Chamberlain is killing righties. They're batting .183 against him.

8-zip and Duke is basically throwing batting practice. I've had enough for tonight.

Beam wasn't much better. I guess we know who is being sent to Indy after the game.

Great performance by Justin Wilson tonight.. seven shut out innings in the deciding game of the College Baseball World Series! He really looked good. He only throws around 85 mph but he mixes it with a sweeping curve.

I haven't followed the Bucs tonight but I'll turn on WCBS 880 now (good reception after 9:00.)
