We are for sure the underdogs tonight. If Gorzo keeps us in the game for 6 innings, then we have a chance. Give up no more then 3 runs and we're there.

What do you think about tonight???

God I hope Doumit can play. We certainly need his stick in the lineup. It could get ugly. They might have a STBHOF going tonight...

I predict bad, bad things.

My only hope is that the bad things happen early enough to allow me to shut the game off and enjoy what looks to be an extremely pleasant evening outside.

I would be surprised if we get more than 2 wins in the next 6 games. There just isn't enough talent here, especially with the injuries.

I'm taking my boat out for some fishing tonight, with an old friend who now hails from Billings, MT, but I'll have a radio along.

Expect the worst and you can't be disappointed!

Man that sounds like fun! Will you be cruising around PNC?

To hell with "We Will", that should be the Pirates slogan.

I like it too-- lower the bar to the ground and it's hard to trip over it!

I will cry if Bullington is called up and ends up facing BJ Upton in a battle of the top 2 choices in the 2002 draft!!!

I'm so glad we got the better guy to need arm surgery and take up a spot on the 40 man roster...

Wow Subby...you were pretty much right on the nose with that one. What do you expect tonight from Duke?

He did keep us in the game for six innings. He was lucky cause he got himself in many messes but got DPs to get out. So, one way to see it is he was good enough to get grounders when he needed them. But I think he was very fortunate.

Tonight we are not so much the underdog. Duke has been pitching much better but they will most likely have their starting outfield playing so it will be tough.
We're at home where we are play so much better, I think we can win this one too. (probably indicates that we get butchered)

Yeah, but tonight we face Joba. Yeah, part of it is the NY hype machine, but a bigger part is that he is a really, really good young arm.

I get it -- the power of negative think.

Even the great ones lose some. He may be intimidated by that hitting last night.-- A real stretch

He's just a kid and he's not pitching at home, but away and against a hot bunch of players.
