I checked Gameday before I left from work, we were up 6-0. I got home and my kid said it was 6-6. I thought she was joking. Well, this whole season is no joke.

Dye hits a grand slam as I'm writing.. crap. How many runs have they scored on us now??

Well anyway it was nice to listen to the game last night on WSCR 670. I like the White Sox announcers. They waxed poetic about Jack Wilson's defence. I'll see if I can get the Toronto games on AM this weekend.

I was camping one year (last year maybe?) over Labor Day in southern Ohio, scanning the AM dial for some Bucco baseball and came across a Blue Jays broadcast out of Toronto. Funny how radio waves work.

13-7 Chi Sox and I don't even care anymore. This team needs a 10 game winning streak to get me back. They need to do it now, not in September when they are 27 games under .500.

Ollie, there is no such thing as a must win game in June.

Is it time for John Russell to turn over the table with the postgame spread yet?

That sort of thing might get a team to play harder when it is showing a lack of effort, but I doubt that it can make pitchers throw strikes or stop giving up home runs.

Sisy, I really felt it was a must win game. A series sweep can deflate a club after being so close to .500. We have to stop this "one step forward, two steps backwards" crap NOW! Maybe there's no such thing as a must win game in baseball until late September, but I felt a little extra sting with this loss. It's soooo frustrating!!!

It is frustrating, but this team has the kind of talent that's going to produce one step forward, two steps back baseball, and that isn't going to change until they have more talent than they do now. So cheer up, or I'll be forced to post the lyrics to "Tomorrow" again! :D
