Given the problems the Bucs have had with Chicago's NL representative, I think that we need to pull out all the stops for the series against the White Sox. A good first step would be to convince the Pirates that they are actually playing in Pittsburgh. I propose that we all pitch in and have pierogis and thin crusted pizzas sent to the visitor's clubhouse before Tuesday's game. No. 9, I'll leave the arrangements to you. These places come highly recommended:

This place has an excellent thin crust pizza:

Get on those phones, No. 9, and let us know what we owe you on Tuesday!

Don't leave out the ultimate Pittsburgh band. Break out the Houserockers.

I like the thin crust New York style pizza. I'll have one large with pepperoni, mushrooms, and sausage please. 8-)

The place I linked to, Paninos, does a pretty good job with the thin crust, which is tough to find in Chicago. I was fortunate enough to find an apartment about one block from Paninos in my Chicago days, and I went there at least once a week. I'm told the rest of their menu is good as well, but all I ever ordered was the pizza. Not a bad place for lunch if you ever make the trek to Chicago for a Bucco series. It's about four blocks from Wrigley.
