McLouth CF
Sanchez-2B
Bay-LF
Doumit-C
Nady-RF
Laroche-DH
Doug-1B
Bautista-3B
Wilson-SS

Well, Bautista, Sanchez, and Laroche are all in the lineup, which means I'm staying the hell away from the message board for the rest of the night. I even heard the 3 of them were conspiring to cause global warming.

Boy, that makes sense. Let's keep a guy hitting over .300 at the bottom of the lineup and keep Sanchez at the top.

Ah, I see LaRoche is back in the lineup tonight and making his accustomed contribution to the offense.

Hoo, boy. Now the lead is gone, and it's getting late. Seems like it was only last night that this happened.

We get a big hit from Bautista and the bullpen hands it right back to them again and this time it's Grabow.

Yep, same ol' Pirates.

Maybe the Bucs still can pull this one out. But right now my disgust with them is as complete as it has been all season. They all knew what this series represented, and instead of siezing the opportunity, they've folded up like a cheap suitcase. No one takes charge. I wrote the other day, and I'll do so again: They play as though they're comfortable being under .500. -- like it's their binky.

Doumit's Doughnuts...........nothing again from him. So much for him being player of the week....

I could also bump back up the Gopher Ball thread in honor of Mr. Grabow.......thank you again sir........

Yep, same old Pirates. The good thing about this is that I was able to find a neat picture of a Pirate ship sinking for everyone's enjoyment......so enjoy! :)

And once again, the bullpen fails. A HR by a journeyman backup third baseman.

Sigh.

Thank you Mr. Capps. When we really need the Bullpen they fall flat on their face. Why wouldn't they. They're the Pittsburgh Pirates Bullpen........... :x

This has to be some kind of cruel joke. Oscar Salazar???

And then he walks the .207 hitter.

Unreal!

He's good for one of those every once in a while.

I just looked up Oscar Salazar. That wasn't his first career home run. He hit one for Detroit... IN 2002.

We suck.

Is it being too knee-jerk reactionist to start wondering about Capps? Seriously, how long can we put up with this?
