A brilliant 34 pitch first by Gorzo, avoids any run damage. Probably not the long outing we're looking for here, we'll see Bullington tonight?

2-0 Buccos! I'm sitting here with my 7 year old. Just thirty seconds before I asked her "you think he'll hit another homer?" Doumit is red hot!!

Unfortunately, I predict some intentional BB's upcoming for Mr. Doumit.

Bases juiced, no outs, bottom of the 2nd. Gorzy up to bat. Here's hoping he ks or walks. No in betweens!

No, but having Bautista and LaRoche sitting on their arses on the Bench is fine with me! :)

Let's Go Bucs!

Intentionally walking Bautista to get to McClouth? Not the greatest strategy...

As much as I was cussing out Burnett just Silver, I still think Burnett would have been a better choice to come North with the Pirates versus Matt Morris. I guess it was a money thing. The Bucs paid so much for Matty they wanted to see if he could earn his money and earn his keep. That's my guess. And it was a situation that NH inherited. I don't think we'll ever see again an overpaid retread on the Pirates again.

By the way, Mr. Freddy is stinking it up again today. Is Freddy ready? Don't think so. Is Freddy steady? Don't think so. He is holding this team back also. Not happy with Mr. Sanchez at all.

Pirate Team through 6: 12 LOB
Freddy through 6: 7 LOB

Freddy usually is fairly steady with RISP, not today though.
