Alfonso Soriano is out for six weeks with a broken finger.

Albert Pujols is out for at least three weeks with a strained left calf.

This might help if the Bucs geat really hot. Maybe they can move up the ladder and make up some ground on these teams. I know.....very wishful thinking but I need to have something to hope for this Summer! :)

Two of the best hitters in the division hurt on the same night. Wow.

This hurts the Cards more than the Cubs, because Pujols meant more to the Cards' offense.

Honestly, when Doumit was hurt it hurt the Pirates just as much. May the time on the DL be long a prosperous for Soriano and Pujols.

This is a killer for the Cards. They'll be lucky to play .500 ball with Pujols out of the lineup. And with the Cubs having such a huge cushion in the division, a bad three weeks could mean the end of the Cards season.
