I thought you should know that this comic strip was the straw that broke the back of the camel. You are now on my foe list. You can respond to this but I won't hear it.
Was this strip offensive?
No.
But it also was unfunny. And it annoyed me of myself when I clicked on this post only to read that strip. That unfunny pointless strip was all it took for me to say "why am I reading this dude's posts?"
So goodbye Mister Estrago. You will be missed.
Maybe if you keep making unfunny pointless posts you will be on everyone's foe list. Except for that VOR guy who seems to love you, you know who I mean, the guy who is most likely you.
Peace out Estrago.

I must say that if this is what passes for humor in Pittsburgh, I'm happy I don't live there.

Sorry about going off-topic here but are congrats in order (I'm sure that they are)? Bar results should be back, no?

Not 'til November. Fingers are crossed.

What passes for humor is the laughingstock baseball team in Pittsburgh

Only recent history. In case you haven't noticed, the Pirates have five World Championships which is second most in the National League. Not too bad for a bunch of losers. I bet Cubs fans would love to be losers like that.

True. At least I have the fond memory of seeing the Pirates win 2 of those 5. However its a lame point and it is similar to Cleveland Browns fans talking about how great they were half a century ago.

Lame point? Ask Indians, Cubs, Giants, Padres, Astros, Brewers, Mariners, Rangers and Rockies fans about their championship teams. Losingest team is a recent trend. This franchise has had many proud moments and will have many more in the future. You of all people should know this city was nicknamed the City of Champions because of the Steelers and Pirates, not the Steelers and Penguins. The Penguins just picked up the torch.

Exactly. If this is an all or nothing proposition, then the odds are miniscule of any team winning the WS on a regular basis. Does that excuse the last 17 years? No, but one must be a realist when it comes to a teams realistic chances of winning regularly. Of course, I don't lose sleep when they lose either being a fan of the game. Heck, I can watch any baseball. No. 1's fall season started this past Sunday and although he didn't pitch, it was just nice to see live baseball up close and personal.

Do you agree with the statement that if you don't win a championship, your season was a failure?

No because that would mean that the other teams are all failures.

Heck, I don't even consider the Lions 0-16 season a total failure. It brought an end to the Matt Millen regime. (I wanted to kill those Lions fans who wanted to lose the last game of the season though.)
