The catching tandem of Tuffy and Buster sounds right out of a cartoon.

Pirates going:
LHPs Daniel Moskos, Tony Watson, Donnie Veal, SS Brian Friday, IF Chase d'Arnaud, OF Jose Tabata

Tuffy is an ASU guy. I may have to go see them this fall. I really would like to see Tabata.

Tuffy and his brother are actually from my hometown. Ian was a good ballplayer as a kid, but not a standout by any stretch. Tuffy was probably only 4 or 5 then. I always wondered if it was a case of better opportunity to be seen and known once they moved to Arizona compared to Illinois. Of course, that's not to take anything away from them and their work ethic. Their dad played minor league ball, so I'm sure they played more than most kids.
