Fair point.

More people need to post a funny pic or vid when he starts his crying. So fun to poke the bear, without giving him the idea that he is actually getting to you.

I agree! The problem is that other posters let things get to them.

Indeed. Perhaps someone should make some disparaging remarks about Frank Zappa to exhibit the point.

Frank Vincent Zappa was a fantastic composer, electric guitarist, record producer and film director. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Zappa wrote rock, jazz, electronic, orchestral, and musique concrète works. He also directed feature-length films and music videos, and designed album covers. He was a self-taught composer and performer and his diverse musical influences led him to create music that was often impossible to categorize. He combined songs in conventional rock and roll format with collective improvisations and studio-generated sound collages. His later albums shared this eclectic and experimental approach, irrespective of whether the fundamental format was one of rock, jazz or classical. He wrote the lyrics to all his songs, which—often humorously—reflected his iconoclastic view of established political processes, structures and movements. He was a strident critic of mainstream education and organized religion, and a forthright and passionate advocate for freedom of speech and the abolition of censorship.
Zappa was a highly productive and prolific artist and he gained widespread critical acclaim. Many of his albums are considered essential in rock history, and he is regarded as one of the most original guitarists and composers of his time; he remains a major influence on musicians and composers.

Thank you, Estrago. You nicely illustrated my point and your hypocrisy with the above comment.

The whole Universe is a large joke.
Everything in the Universe are just subdivisions of this joke.
So why take anything too serious.

Mostly from the Arrogant Poser clique of rock critics.

Quote:
Many of his albums are considered essential in rock history

By the same Arrogant Poser clique.

Quote:
and he is regarded as one of the most original guitarists and composers of his time

See "Arrogant Posers" above.

Quote:
he remains a major influence on musicians and composers.

Who wish entry into the Arrogant Poser clique.

I did a cut-and-paste on the Wikipedia entry for Bucfan, and found the following:

"UPPMB's Bucfan is personable, intelligent, debonair, and good-looking. This bon vivant, well-read poser, err, poster is the go-to guy for a picture on any subject, and the master of the subtle put-down, mainly of himself. Well-known as Ryann's favorite board contributor, Bucfan is a busy contributor and long-time inspiration to the tawdry, low-brow and clownish UPPMB."
