In memoriam to Ryann, who pronounced Bryan Morris terrible without the benefit of actually seeing him throw a pitch, this update:

Since being returned to Lynchburg's roster, Morris has started and won two games. Tonight, he went 6 innings, giving up 3 H and 0 earned runs. He walked 2 and fanned 2 in the win.

In his prior start, Morris went 6 2/3 innings, giving up 6 H and 2 earned runs. He walked 3 and fanned 4 in that start.

Therefore, since his return, Morris has gone 2-0, 12 2/3 innings, 9 H, 2 earned runs, 5 BB, 6 K's, ERA of 1.42. Not bad for a guy who sucks.

Would like to see the K:BB ratio improve, but that's certainly acceptable for a pitcher coming off an injury. Control is the last thing to return, right?

Maybe he needed a slight attitude check with his demotion/suspension. He seems to have the fire in his gut now.

It's all part of growing up. It could be a situation like Patrick Kane. Oh My!
