Seven player deal:

Jack and Snell to Seattle. Clement is the headliner coming to Pittsburgh, along with Ronny Cedeno and some prospects.

Anyone with info on any of the prospects? They aren't listed among the Mariners top 10, but Adcock supposedly has a filthy curve. That's about all the scouting I have so far.

The others are all pitchers, of them, Lorin looks to be the best (in my approximately 45 seconds of analysis so far).

Honestly, Jack and Snell for Clement would have made me happy. I think this is a good deal.

I am efforting to talk with the manager of Clinton (who was the manager of West Tenn last year) for a scouting report on the three pitchers.

DK Tweets: Cedeno is only player joining Pirates right away. Clement to Class AAA, rest to Class A

I don't have my 2009 BA prospect handbook here at work, but I do have the 2008 edition.
In 2008 Clement was their top prospect. Don't know anything about the others

I don't get this deal at all. In 2009 Clement was sent down and is hitting 227. I also don't see why we need a catcher.

Maybe I'm missing something? I've only done 30 sec of research too.

Looks like the plan is to fill 1B with a converted catcher.

Only 28 people online right now. No one cares about this trade.

We needed a catcher.

Seriously, I am glad for Jack and the rest....they are out of this circus.

I really am very sad to see Jack go, he was by far my favorite Pirate over the years.

Seriously I have to go back to work now.

Brett Lorin's got some intriguing numbers in single A: ERA 2.55, WHIP 0.970, BB/9 2.5, SO/9 8.8.
