I called you a sucker... does that hurt your feelings?? You've been calling me that for being an "apologist" since we started arguing this same topic 2 years ago.

Don't get all self-righteous on me, you know you enjoy getting guys like me all wound up more than you actually care about the Pirates.

It does not bother me at all. I bring it up though because I am constantly name called in here. I dont tell people to shut the hell up either. This board has a double standard. Hey thats the way it is...life is not fair.
It would be nice at this time of the year to be talking about a penant race and who the Pirates could add to help their cause instead of what goes on year after year. Dont take it out on me....I want the team to win.

go to the user control...look for foe and add the user name. For those complaining why dont they use it?...I do although I admit to reading a foe post from time to time(that is an option you can also use)

Estrago, if you don't like how the board is run, why are you still here?

Isn't that the group that sang the Dinosaur song. My kids love that songs. There was remake in the new Ice Age.

Yes it is. Much underrated band in the 90's. Album, What UP Dog? is very good. Don Was, halfo of the duo, is a big time producer, Stones, etc.

I agree with you estrago. Someone can be warned if they are too against managment stating it in threads, but no one ever is warned about praising managment in every single thread. It is a double standard.

I would guess that the same repeated mantra is the cause. Personally, I have remedied it for myself. I don't need the mods to do what I can. Cause? Broken record syndrome. Groundhog day. Or how about a great Dave Edmunds record, "Repeat When Necessary"? It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't from a self avowed non watcher of the game at any level. Lacks credibility. Kind of like, if you don't vote, don't whine about politicians. Can I come up with any other analogies? Probably, but I have repeated more than necessary.

Was Not Was :) I was listening to Iggy Pop's Brick by Brick album the other day and it was actually produced by Don Was. I have not thought of Was not Was in a very long time before that. For kicks my girlfriend downloaded some of their stuff from iTunes over the weekend. I'm not sure what that has to do w/ the Pirates but I thought it was funny to see them mentioned twice in a few days.

He's probably thinking that cash is just as good as money.
