Not being from Pittsburgh, I can only imagime the problem of driving into the city on Wed. when the Pens play and so do the Pirates with their new promotion which will bring more then the usual crowd.

Is it a serious problem?? Can the downtown absorb so much traffic at the same time?

I prefer public transportation myself (I'd walk to Pirate games if Noblestown Road had a sidewalk), but anybody going to the Bucco game would be best off avoiding downtown and park on the North Side if possible. If you're coming from the east you're screwed no matter what. Anyone coming from a neighborhood near the T line is crazy to drive to any downtown event.
