I thought this was worth posting just because it is rare that Yahoo or other major sites/networks aren't hating on the Pirates.

nice post colin..

i guess if freddy and jack stick around.. we have still that great no.2 & no.8 spott.. that set and the always willing of the 2 has the middle infield set, and yes.. i think many teams love to have this two together and fill the power and offense on other places.. see freddy hit yesterday, he still has 2 or 3 good years on him, and when finally the real power comes behind him, his on base and nice doubles are welcome.. (i must admit i am a huge freddy fan)
and jack always does a good job batting 8th in front of the pitcher.. and what happens if these two guys start playing behind a winning team..? i think the key for succes in this pirates team depends if some pitchers are going to develop to aces.. if you look at the minors... the offense will come.. see how lately Tabata, Pedro & Gorky are playing..
