How do I quote just part of a prior post instead of embedding a bunch of them?

Go to the Topic Review section below the editor window where all the prior posts are listed. Select (by dragging with the mouse) the part of the quote that you want and click the quote button next to your selection. Just the part that you highlighted will be quoted. This is how I generated the following:

If you want to copy and paste instead of using the quote function, you right-click and hold the mouse, highlight just the part you want to quote and then left click and select copy. When you want to insert it in your own post, right click and select paste.

The part i don't get about this is the users name doesn't show up for me. It shows up as a quote but it doesn't say who it is from when it was taken from a multiple person quote.

I see some of you know how to get it so the person user name shows up above the quote like it does the first time it is quoted.
This is from a different topic by the way.

This is simply amazing. I don't think I have ever laughed this hard at someone else's expense without them even being aware of it.
