Congrats Freddy.

When do they name the pitchers? I am hoping for Duke!

Marlins announcers are juicing their shorts about All-Star selections. My thoughts?

Who gives a flying fuck?? Seriously.

I don't think there is anyway Duke gets in. He started off great, but he has really cooled off.

Does his option get picked up automatically since he made the all star team?.

I thought i read somewhere that the option kicked in with plate appearances or a selection to the team.

I am sure someone will clarify my question within the hour.

No, it just lowers the requisite number of plate appearances needed in order for the option to vest. He now only need 600 plate appearances in order for the option to vest. Given how many PAs he's had so far, Freddy will likely not be a free agent next year, regardless of whether we trade him or not.

I can't believe Jason Bay didn't make the all-star team for the American League.

Um, he did. He was voted in by the fans.

Wow i'm glad. I just saw it also on MLB.com, i'm done listening to ESPN. They had the rosters all screwed up. They had it listed that Torii Hunter, Adam Jones, and Ichiro where the starters and they didn't have Bay listed as a reserve. Only Ichiro is a starter out of the ones they had listed, but i am upset about another mistake they made. They had it listed that Freddy was picked to start at 2nd base and i see now that he is a reserve.
Screw you ESPN, you make me look like an ass way too much, i'm done, i'm done with you. We are over, we need to see other people, i just need some time to think.
