Great update. I was hoping somebody made a post when they finally got into the game. Wouldn't it be funny if these guys end up being really good after all the jokes the Pirates took on major networks for signing them.

I only saw each throw 1 pitch, but i slow mowed there delivery, and i have to say i was pretty impressed.

The leftys delivery reminded me of Marte.
The righties reminded me of Dock Ellis, don't laugh.

I know i am basing this on just 1 pitch, but i gotta give a lot of cred to who ever has been working with these guys.

They actually looked like professional ball players when they were throwing the pitch.
Who knows what ends up with these 2, but they are athletes, young, have the willingness to learn, and are at least playing in real competiion, instead of throwing 90 mph's at a metal cut out of a hitter.

Rinku Singh pitched a scoreless 8th Monday vs. the GCL Yankees. He hit the first batter with a pitch but then induced three straight ground balls to infielders to end the inning. To date, he has been in 2 games, pitched 2 innings, allowed 2 hits and an earned run, struck out one batter, hit one, and thrown a wild pitch.

Dinesh Patel has been in one game, pitched 1 inning, allowed no hits, and struck out 1 batter.

Singh's ERA so far: 4.50

Patel's: 0.00

BTW, second baseman Gift Ngoepe is 5-for-18 (.278), with a double and a run scored. But he has K'd 6 times and was thrown out on his only stolen-base attempt.
