.....missed most of the ball game, It was July 1, the day that recruiters can call 2010 seniors and it was exciting but not that far from dealing with used car salesmen. No. 2 and I have spoken with many college dive coaches and I am probably feeling the stress more than him. Of course I am the Scott Boras in the equation. Having been an agent in the music business in a not so distant life, I should have been expecting the stress, but when dealing with an offspring, I guess that adds another factor to the equation. More of the same tomorrow.
manana mi amigos.
Sorry this is in the baseball section but I was trying to watch the game while all this was going on and failed in that regard......along with the Bucs.
I hate losing to the Cubs.

Wow that is a hell of a list there. It doesn't get much better than those schools.

Apparently this is a 2-3 day process. We have had inquiries from Tennessee and Northwestern too but no phone calls at this point. We shall see.

They have a great program at Ohio State. He is scheduled for a visit there in September. Hawaii is a place where the program is good and obviously it is Hawaii but their schedule can be an issue in that schools cannot afford to make trips there. They have invitationals and travel to invitationals but the travel issue limits dual meets. They will see him next week in Beaverton, Oregon at JO Zones.

Too many distractions that might prevent him from focusing on his studies :)

The timezone change traveling from Hawaii can be very rough on somebody.

It's like dealing with a used car salesman. They tell you how much they love you and then try and low ball you. :o

Get in line. My brother in law, who is a head high school football coach and college football nut, wants me to get him tickets to the LSU/Florida game which is the weekend that my son is penciled (yes only penciled till the offer improves) in to go on a visit there. He has even offered to fly me in with him. 8-)

Umm Az . . . it is The Ohio State University . . . not Ohio State University . . . gotta get the nomenclature down if No. 2 is going to attend that puss haven of a college. :)

Good luck with the recruiting. I can only imagine how stressful it may be.

Az that's great wish him luck.

we may all think he will be worried about acedemics and baseball, in truth he is probably thinking about baseball and the beach and not necessarily in that order.
