Here was a question I thought of last night while watching Delwyn Young at bat. Would there be a benefit of, if you could, fielding an all switch hitting team? If so, which current MLB players (you could include those on the DL for those of you who would want Doumit to play) would you field for that particular evening?

SS: Jose Reyes
CF: Carlos Beltran
RF: Nick Swisher
LF: Milton Bradley?
P: Carlos Zambrano

Wow, it was tough finding suitable corner outfielders that switch-hit. Switch-hitting is a rare commodity amongst elite hitters; that is not the case among the average-to-below-average hitters.

That team would win a lot of games. The defense would be above average (aside from the corner OF'ers), and the hitting would be potentially ferocious.

They would also miss alot of games because of injury.

I'd throw Lance Berkman back to the outfield for this team.

Ah, forgot about that. Yeah, Berkman can take Bradley's spot.
