Cutch has had a very rough weekend. His worst stretch in his young career. If you were the manager, would you give him the day off today....let him get a bit of a break, let go of some of the pressure...or would you run him out there again?

Personally, I think I would give him the day off as starter...move Nyjer to CF and give DYoung another start. Then when he is good and relaxed, I would use him as the first PH off the bench.

Go Zach! Get #9.

I was actually thinking the same. I also noticed that the Cubs are next on the schedule so I say run him out there. These are the games that will make or break the season.

I would give him a day off soon but would prefer to wait until the team is on the road. He's the one the home fans are paying to see.

That is an excellent point!

For an 0-10 stretch??? Not unless his AB's are looking poor and he looks lost.

Jeez, did you expect him to keep hitting in every game he plays?

NO....he just has played a bunch in a row, and had a few bad ones. I just think it would be a decent time to give him a day off.

I thought he looked real good the last few games. He was taking lots of pitches and having good at-bats. He just happened to hit many many many of them straight at someone playing d. He was due for some bad luck.

Yeah, I know. It's not like I want him cut or anything...just suggesting the time may be right to give him a day off.

Moss and Young both need their playing time. I would sit Cutch once in a while for that reason moreso than because he went 0 for 10.

I don't think he needs a day off yet. I think he should get a chance to come out of this slump on his own before he sits for a day.

I was thinking about this earlier. I think after the first two at bats tonight from Cutch we probably should on Tue.
