Pedro Alvarez = 2-run dinger, his first @ AA.

Brad Lincoln = mowing down Lehigh Valley so far for Indianapolis. 4 shutout innings, 1 hit, 4 K, 2 singles of his own.

Lincoln's also gone 2 for 2 at the plate. Maybe he can play right field on his off days.

Lincoln apparently will be back out for the 7th inning. Still working on a 1-hit shutout, and that was the only ball hit hard against him. He has walked two and hit a batter on a 59-foot curveball that nicked the hitter on the shoe.

Lincoln lifted after 6-2/3 after tiring. He allowed another BB and another hit and lost his shutout as the Indianapolis reliever gives up a hit to the first batter he faced.

Still, a pretty good debut at AAA.

Very good debut. I see him being a great major leaguer. He has moved up every level without losing a beat.

Is that the one that goes, "Bob Evans, down on the farm..."?

Opening line is "Theyr'e all askin' 'bout you down on the farm. The cows ask, the pigs ask, the horses ask too." Unfortunately it is about the only strong tune on the record. It is at the end of the bands first incarnation. By that time, Lowell Geroge's physical and mental well-being were pretty much compromised by cocaine and alcohol and he died not too much later.
