We are again mired in a losing streak. .500 is again seemingly out of reach. Our offense is weak, and our starting rotation is suddenly looking very shaky.

These things bother me, but not as much as this: We drew 19,000 for Cleveland!

The weather is beautiful and the kids are out of school.

People in this town simply do not want to go to Pirate games. I am concerned that the club is not going to generate enough revenue to even have a chance of turning this around.

Subject the fan base to the McLouth trade and another losing streak, on top of the 16 plus years of losing, and you are playing to an empty house. Even if Cleveland is in town.

That is what I was saying and thinking. The Pirates need to wake up because Baseball is dying in Pittsburgh.

I sometimes think that MLB is out to get us. Why have we played the least number of home games in all of baseball?

I was wondering why we played so few also. The difference between us and the Rockies is crazy.
