I am somehow deadlast in my poule, due to two aces (Sabathia & Hamels) who are not this steady..

now i got many offers for Joe Mauer, everybody wants him..

J-Roll is offered with Posada and D.Price or Posada, Price & Hamilton

is Price a good pickup? or just to dangerous....

Why the heck would you want to get rid of Joe Mauer?
At a premium fantasy position as catcher, he is clearly head and shoulders above the rest.
I would be looking to acquire David Price, he is going to really be something as the season rolls on.
See if you can get him(price, another good hitter, for Sabathia, he is a bum, he will probably not make it through the entire season without some kind of serious injury.
Repeat, do not trade Joe Mauer, unless you are trying to lose. I know you say you are in the cellar, but a little tinkering can go along way. Still alot of fantasy baseball left.
Rollins, Price and another hitter, for Sabathia.
What do you need the most, hits, power , steals, runs?, whatever , that is what you should look to acquire.

I think Price is a good pick up, but he is not worth Mauer. They are trying to trade him while his stock is high, plus in a 3 for 1 trade wouldn't you have to drop 2 players also?

Hamilton is hurt right now. If you need help in the OF, get somebody who is currently producing in a category where you need help (SB, runs, etc.) and is not hurt. Getting Hamilton will not do you any good right now. Further, Hamilton is battling an abdominal injury that could bother him the rest of the season.

Posada is producing reasonably well, but is a huge drop-off from Mauer.

Finally, David Price is the best of the players offered in terms of value. He is going to log a lot of K's, should have a good ERA, and will win games as Tampa is a good team. You need to balance how much he is going to improve your pitching, since Hamels is going to be a good pitcher the second half. In his last start, Hamels went 8 innings, gave up 2 runs and fanned 10. Further, Sabathia states he is starting on Friday.

So if Sabathia and Hamels were on the DL and looked to be out for 6 weeks, maybe a trade is needed. But one of the guys offered in return - Hamilton - is on the DL and will not help until ... well, who knows? Price is not an upgrade over Hamels and Sabathia, if Sabathia is healthy.

Finally, Mauer is massively better than Posada.

Price went Snell tonight against the Phillies also. The Rays lost 10-1 and Price had 4.1 innings pitched, 7 hits, 10 runs allowed(5 earned), 2 walks, 2 K's, and 2 HR's allowed.
He could be getting dropped by some teams if he puts together another bad start.
