Sorry, Animal.....not trying to steal your niche, but you have got me on a trivia kick....BTW, have you thought of doing anything like a multi-question quiz to see who gets the most right? They would have to be easier than the ones we have been doing, probably.

Anyway, here's another quickie....

Who leads the Pirates in runs scored as of right now?

Without looking it up ... and figuring that there has to be a twist to the question ... my answer is Nate McLouth.

How's that?

My second answer ... Brian Bixler. No, seriously, Freddy Sanchez.

I'm guessing Adam LaRoche. I think he leads the Pirates in most stat catagories right now.

We have a winner! Adam has scored more than Nyjer and Freddie, who are the plate appearance leaders and the so-called "table-setters". Adam is on pace to score close to 100 runs. Too bad 50 of them will be with another team.

So Bixler is second?

Um......no. He is still among the leaders in strikeouts, though and he has that .652 fielding percentage, and the Dahli Lama granted him total consciousness, so he's got that going for him....which is nice.

Bixler is probably the only person in the Majors this year not to have a maple bat break on him while swinging...

I don't know...I could see him breaking one while swinging...I just can't see him breaking one hitting.

Just be the ball, be the ball, be the ball. You're not being the ball, Brian.

I disagree. He is getting hammered and thrown out as useless three pitches into every at-bat. :D
