A Trivia question I don't know the answer to actually. I've wondered about this for some time now too. I use this picture as my Avatar. It's the Pirate themed golf cart that looks like a baseball hat.

When did MLB stop riding relief pitchers in from the Bullpen? And, was there a reason? Actually, when in the heck or in what year did that all start?

It had to be because of liability issues, given all the lawyers we have here. :lol:

Oh god, and I was kidding about the liability thing.

Seems to me that one of the board's counselors could find a way to sue MLB if a pitcher sprained an ankle while jogging in from the bullpen.
