Hopefully with the Steelers winning the Super Bowl and now the Penguins winning the Stanley Cup, the Pirates can gain some positives from their accomplishments and become winners too. It was a special visit the Pens made to PNC and the Pirates on Sunday.

That might be the only trophy that is lifted up at PNC for as long as it exists, but i sure hope not.

I was at PNC on Sat and Sun - but was stuck in traffic on Sun and missed the celebration  . I was in section 107 both nights. I thought Sat was especially great and I really liked the old uniforms. The stadium was buzzing Sat and I really felt good about both games. I actually feel much more positive about the team now then I did a week ago this time after draft Day 1.

Great pictures and thanks for posting them.

Yeah my post count as been low because i'm still mad about the draft, and i didn't want that to be all i was talking about, and taking 2 out of 3 from the Tigers makes me feel alot better now.

I am mad about Day 1 but am excited about Day 2-3 (but does 3 really matter?:)). I don't really buy the argument they make about Day 1, but to their credit they had a plan and executed on it. We had a good thread about this w/ some good comments on the board from CNYBuck and others including some BA/BP people saying that Bucs won day #2.

It's up to NH to sign a number of these guys but it helped me to cope.

BTW - You're not the only one, I think the posts have been lower since draft Day 1 overall.
