What do you guys think about Diaz's reaction to the fall ball into the stands in the 7th or 8th? Did he give up way too early or am I making a bigger thing than it should be? Even Walkie commented. He may have been able to catch that ball if he reached into the stands. Maybe not, but maybe so. I didn't like the effort there. Fortunately it did not come back to hurt us.

Your thoughts?>

Making way too much of this. Diaz is actually on the field, and knows a thousand times more about the play than anybody in the stands.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it was where the net was.

If we are talking about the same one.

I was in 114, just to the right of the foul ball. Robinzon came to the wall, and the ball fell behind the netting into the blue seats about 2 rows deep. Guy made a nice catch.

I don't remember another one similiar. This was the 7th??? I believe.

That was the play. The ball was behind the backstop. Diaz read the play correctly.
