Anyone from the board going to the game tonight? Maybe I should be asking if anyone from Pittsburgh will be going tonight?

I'm planning on going for the first few innings tonight and heading over to one of the watering holes for face-off.

Well the bottom half of the Tigers lineup has gone cold as of late, which could be a good thing, but they still have a pretty deep lineup.

Wow, they're batting Kelly 3rd? What's Leyland thinking?

He doesn't change the lineup much. I think it is more of the fact that he is keeping the other guys where they have been at.

Ian Snell stinks. Period.

I am done with him. Next.

1st and 3rd with zero outs. 2nd and 3rd with one out.

Zippo. Very depressing.

And drives in two runs in his first MLB plate appearances.

Well 10 hits off of Snell. Porcello is a beast. Grabow giving up that homer to Inge was just stupidity on his part.

I will say thought that Russel knows what he is doing, putting Moss back in the starting lineup was nothing short of brilliant, 0-4 with 2 strikeouts. What a joke

Yeah, I was at the finale game in Atlanta a couple of days ago and Moss looked clueless at the plate. I had high hopes for him, but he is looking like a head case at the plate lately.

Snell needs to move to the pen. It's time.

Choosing a batting order was never a strength for Leyland. How many managers in baseball history have put the guy who is by far his best hitter in the number 5 hole? I also remember him saying that Bonds had to show that he could drive in runs before he'd move him to the middle of the order. Batting behind Jose Lind and the pitcher, Bonds was getting an RBI chance about twice a week at the time. Leyland does all the hard things very well, and the easy things very badly.
