Seems like we needed a game thread since no one is here. Have at it. I hope I didn't break protocol.

Better than elbow or shoulder tightness.

The irony of Karstens relieving Morgon on his start after the 1st inning almost surreal.

Karstens is doing well so far.

We have a protocol?

I have no idea. I'm pretty new to the board and assumed that it was done by the 'powers that be'. :)

I guess you're the new 'power that be' then. Congratulations!

Bottom of 6th two out and one one. McCann hits it off the top of the wall for a disputed home run. It's ruled a double on replay and now it's a double.

Pitching change - which really sucks because the pitcher leads off in he 7th.

Darn Karstens

I have no problem with Karstens' performance tonight. A yeoman's effort.

Uh oh. Monroe on first with Cutch up again. I hope they don't ask Monroe to go first to home again. It might kill him. It's also possible the Cutch could accidentally pass him on the base path.

Monroe comes home in an infield single. I think he wanted to make up for Tue :)

A question for anyone who has been watching the game, I know he only went one inning but how did Morton look? I guess I am grasping for positive straws lol.

He looked pretty good. He threw 13 pitches and gave up 1 hit. Hit 94 on the gun. I was at the TV so I don't know the specific pitches.

Great job Grabow 1,2,3 in the 8th. I was glad he came back in. He was on.

Tough night for Cutch 0-4 w/ 2K's

Thanks, hopefully his leg is not going to be a big deal. I think this kid could be a solid #3 type.
