I would suggest stepping out on him, but he would just do it again.

NO, he is getting the ball and doing all kind of funky stuff with his body....rocking it back and forth...winding up, winding down, twitching his eyes, spinning his head around like in the Exorcist...well, okay, not all that, but he looks really funky!

I hate the tomahawk chop just about as bad as anything in sports. That is one of my first sports memories, when the Pirates blew the game in 1991 or 1992 whenever it was and it got so loud i've just hated it since. I also hate when you see some dumb girl that they put on camera that has no clue about baseball doing it, i just want somebody to smack the shit out of her.

Mike Gonzalez did not have these near-Tourette's movements when he was with the Pirates.

It did sometimes when he really got into it. My dad pointed it out and said Gonzalez is still making those stupid movement. It's weird this topic came up.

He used to move back and forth rapidly but nothing as funky as what he was doing. That's just bizarre and not pleasant to watch.

I wonder if he picked it up originally from watching Oliver Perez, who would do that "Praying Mantis" thing pre-windup.
