Why isn't Delwyn Young getting a bit more playing time?

(I'm saying this just to coax a frickin' home run out of Hinske.)

McCutchen has a freaking sweet swing. Really nice.

Not sure that I'm watching the game. Tuned in but I continue to get interviews about the BC catcher. They are putting on a real PR job for him which scares me. -- 1st Neil, now the BC coach-- enough already

Food for thought as I was watching the game last night . . .

Sanchez is really good at going the other way - to LF. Morgan is much more effective when he tries to hit the ball to LF. McCutchen seems to be a player who will be getting on base with regular frequency.

Are the Bucs better off moving Sanchez back to the #2 spot?
Why?
At the #3 spot, Sanchez likely feels pressure to drive in runs and may be inclined to adopt a different hitting approach in the #3 spot.
Hitting in the #2 slot with McCutch on base frequently, Morgan may feel inclined to try to pull the ball through the hole between 1st and 2nd base. He may be inclined to go away from hitting the ball to the opposite field.
At the #2 slot, Sanchez may benefit from the big hole between 1st and 2nd when McCutch is on base.

I'd give some serious thought to:
1. McCutch
2. Sanchez
3. L'il LaRoche
4. Sr. LaRoche
5. Moss
6. Jaramillo/Diaz
7. Morgan
8. Wilson

After Doumit's return:
1. McCutch
2. Sanchez
3. L'il LaRoche
4. Doumit
5. Sr. LaRoche
6. Moss
7. Morgan
8. Wilson

They did the same for Alvarez.

Nice baserunning by McLouth there.

You know No.9, I was thinking along the same idea. Morgan is in trouble in the 2 slot. He does need to go to left and is trying to move Andrew by pulling.-- Problem-- or is Morgan just done after 6 good weeks?

Freddy will be fine anywhere-- he's just off for now.

Young probably cost us a run by not going to first. No experience and it showed.

The Pirates are in trouble. The home plate umpire is giving Lowe a huge strike zone. The strike 3 call against L'il LaRoche was awful. I'm surprised that he didn't get tossed.

The 2-1 pitch to Hinske was called a ball and was better than strike 3 called on LaRoche.

That had to be an error on Wilson. They need to change that call.

Ohlie is pitching well, but stop getting behind Chipper Jones 3-0. It has cost you both your runs.

Young was safe at 1B. Replay shows it. 1B Ump tosses Perry Hill from the game.......the 1B Ump is an idiot..............must be related to the Home Plate Ump also.........

I would suggest sitting Adam LaRoche for a bit......he is killing us right now in the middle of the lineup.

Yuck, another hard game to lose. I still think they should've had either Vazquez or Moss pinch run for Diaz.
