to a pitcher that was struggling terribly in April - Franquelis Osoria.

In his last 11 innings, he has given up just 6 hits, 0 walks (!!), 0 runs (!!), and has fanned 6. Very impressive stretch. He is getting very good movement on his fastball, and is now owning right-handed batters.

So, Osoria, kudos to a fine job pitching the last 3 weeks. Keep it up.

You can add - at least for the last 2 games - Luis Rivas to the post. Some absolutely huge ABs in key situations.

He may have just played his way to staying on the team when Jack returns

He certainly did. Bixler is all but packed for Indy.

At least we got to "find out about" Bixler. We found out about the fact that he can't hit major league pitching.

...which shouldn't have been a surprise since he couldn't hit AAA pitching for a good chunk of last season.
