Mike "Cy Young" Hampton starts the game and the Pirates go down 1-2-3.

Here we go.........Image

The Pirates must be PATIENT at the plate and make Hampton work.

Hampton has made the Pirates look like the proverbial monkeys this season.

4/15 -- 6 IP, 4 hits, 0 R, 1 walk, 8 K

5/31 -- 7 IP, 3 hits, 1 R, 1 walk, 3 K

tonight (so far) -- 7 IP, 5 hits, 1 R, 0 walks, 5 K

TOTAL -- 20 IP, 12 hits, 2 R, 2 walks, 16 K

Of the 12 hits, only one (a McLouth solo HR) has been more than a single.

Sigh.
