McCutch will grab the headlines but here's some information for you.

Charlie Morton's debut as an Indian:
7 IP
96 pitches
66 strikes
4 hits
1 walk
0 runs
11 ground outs
3 fly outs
7 strike outs

Could we see Snell head to the bullpen, Gorzo get some starts in Indy and Morton take Snell's spot?

The only thing that makes me think that Snell would be sent down if Morton gets called up is because Triple-A still needs a rotation. They did say though that they want Gorzo to go back to start in Triple-A, but i don't really think he should be at this point because he has been really good. Only way i would send him back is if Steven Jackson is as good as he looks to be right now.
I want to see Grabow get into some more games though because i would like to see him get traded next. We don't really need him anymore and he could bring something decent back in return. Although it would probably have to be some type of package deal, like Adam LaRoche and Grabow for a package deal.

As much as the sting still lingers with the McLouth trade it's outings like this from Morton that make me truly see a plan in place by the Pirates. It still hurts but that tiny flickering light is getting a little bigger.

If Yates comes back in the next few days, that opens up Gorzo and Snell going back and Morton taking Snell's spot...Snell still has an option left...

But I dont know if you send Snell down yet...He has had 5 quality starts in 11 starts, plus a rain shortened outing...

Wouldn't be surprised to see Snell traded.

Both Phillies and Denver are in terrible pitching shape, and need any kind of talent. And, Snell had his most success with Tracy. He actually like Colburn.

Both have inquired from what I understand as well.

Not sure what you get back though unless you make it a package deal of some sort.

Wow Snell and his fly balls in Denver?!!! I could see the Good Year Blimp running into one of his still airborn shots during a Broncos game in November...

The next question is, what do get in exchange?

Huntington made pointed statements about needing to upgrade the rotation. That clearly was directed at Snell. He better shape up or be shipped out.
