I wonder if they'll have Morgan run down balls hit down the LF line from CF?

Looks like Russell was reading my earlier thread. Man am I scared now. If he starts thinking like me we're done and he's fired.

Checking in during the bottom of the 2nd inning and I'm impressed with what I'm seeing already.

Yes  ........um......Morgan just missed a fly ball to CF now costing us a run.......maybe he should play CF by shading more towards the LF line........ :?

Along with Nyjer's defensive positioning, he has 3 Ks tonight and his average is really on a downward spiral.

How does Capps get a save tonight? When he came in we had a big lead and he hit the guy to make it only a three run lead. Need a rule change if that's correct, cuz he shouldn't get credit for a save there.

Good for Karsters. Nice game and he seems to have become more comfortable as the season progresses.

Morgan really can't play outfield well except for his speed.

From Wikipedia:

the official scorer shall credit a pitcher with a save when such pitcher meets all four of the following conditions[2]:

1. He is the finishing pitcher in a game won by his team
2. He is not the winning pitcher
3. He is credited with at least ⅓ of an inning pitched
4. He satisfies one of the following conditions:
He enters the game with a lead of no more than three runs and pitches for at least one inning
He enters the game, regardless of the count, with the potential tying run either on base, at bat or on deck
He pitches for at least three innings

Capps met the bolded requirement.
