During the Pens' game last night, my buddy posed an interesting question to me. He asked me if there was a Mt. Rushmore style monument to be built of Pittsburgh sports legends, which four people would adorn the mountain. I responded with Roberto Clemente, Mario Lemieux, Art Rooney and Joe Greene. I then wondered which four faces would adorn a similar monument dedicated to the Pirates. I believe that Roberto Clemente, Willie Stargell, Honus Wagner and Bill Mazeroski would be the four. Does anyone have any thoughts on who should be on the Pittsburgh Sports Mt. Rushmore and a similar one for the Bucs?

PoP -

I like your lists of who would be in the Pittsburgh Sports Mt. Rushmore. How about giving Harvey Haddix a look for the Bucco Mount?

My mount Rushmore consists of Bob Nutting, G. Ogden Nutting, and the entire Nutting Family. They sit high atop the mountain, counting the money they steal from you, charging you to watch their minor league baseball team, while running a kenney wood
style theme park/amusement park. Selling you the Pirate Parrot, nachos, fun and games, pierogie races, Freddy Sanchez bobbleheads(until he is given away to the Red sox or Yankees in exchange for "Quality Depth") Jason Bay Bobbleheads, WHOOOPS.
ARAMIS RAMIREZ BOBBLEHEADS, WHOOPS.
XAVIER NADY BOBBLEHEADS, WHOOPS
OLIVER PEREZ BOBBLEHEADS, WHOOPS, I BURNED THEM AGAIN.

THE PITTSBURGH PIRATES:

REBUILDING, SINCE 1992, WITH "QUALITY DEPTH".

Rod-

They never gave away a Nady bobblehead. Get your facts straight before you post.

Fact: 17 consecutive losing seasons, an all time record.

Argue that.

LOL! Snappy, brad! I guess those guys could use some stool softener though, their BM's have been hard as rocks lately.

I was referring to the tourists latrine, but hey, who knows.
