With the phasing out of vinyl, what will be the replacement for "broken record"? Or will there be one?

Good point. Although I still say "roll up the window" when talking about a car window.

Sweet axe. I love it. The cheesier the better. The guitar player for one of the bands I handled in the 80's found a guitar to play slide on that was so cheesy, he named it velveeta.

That's funny. I tried to make mine slide as well so I could play like Duane Allman, even got myself a Coricidan medicine glass bottle, but alas, I lacked the most vital element of playing like him, talent. Needless to say I don't play slide much. Setting your goal as high as possible can be a good thing, but dealing with the failure of not achieving it is another! :(

Because everybody wants to rule the world ... rule a mad world. I like T4F, Az. And I am not afraid to admit it.

They played some catchy 80's pop and sold a lot of records. I had a weakness for anything Paul Carrack, Nick Lowe, Dave Edmunds, Don Dixon, etc......................Many guilty pleasures.
