Zambrano bumped him then got tossed, then told the ump he's out of the game, throws the ball, and starts busting equipment in the dugout...

Classic!!!! Someone is going to sit a few games...of course just as I made a trade for him in Fantasy

Zambrano was taking his aggression out on a Gatorade machine, not just a cooler. A little unnecessary if you ask me. Kind of hope he pulled something in his rage.

What's the ruling on this? Does a reliever get as much time to warm up as he wants following a rejection or does he have to come in on just the usual number of pitches? (Possibly this is moot because Guzman was already up and getting loose. I don't know because I'm watching on GameDay.)

Sounds like Senior LaRoche just missed a dinger. Dang. A quick 1-2-3 would be nice here. Angel Guzman is eminently hittable.

Wehner says the wind kept LaRoche's drive in the ballpark...

I think it was the added wind caused by Laroche sucking that kept it in.

Dang . . . Marmol is pretty good. Would much rather have the Bucs facing Guzman.

Just watched the replay on MLB.TV. Good call by the ump on Nyjer scoring. His left hand is touching home plate and Zambrano's glove isn't touching Nyjer.

Nice. Just freaking nice. Johnson just went deep. G__ D____!

Assuming we don't come back, pin this loss on Russell. If Sanchez plays we win this game.

And . . . so much for yet another quality start by a Bucco pitcher. Flushed right down the toilet by the bullpen.

A minor running gaffe by Freddy in the 9th? Unbelievable.

Looks like Sanchez just ran us out of the 9th inning.

It is Russell's fault . . .

Hey, I love Freddie and everyone makes mistakes, but how do you get caught off of first base in that scenario? Looks like it was deep fly ball to right but, still, he should have been practically standing on first until he saw it drop in.

I was being sarcastic. It was really bad baserunning on his part. On the radio, they said that Freddy was past 3rd base. Was Beasley trying to get Freddy's attention.

Ah! So it was Beasley's fault, which ultimately goes back to JR for hiring him and Nutting for not giving JR enough of a budget to hire a big-market coach. All roads lead to Nutting.
