Starting pitching?

Seriously?

I think we are going to be pleasantly surprised by the rotation. I really believe Maholm is going to turn into a top of the rotation guy. I think Duke and Ohlendorf can be solid starting pitchers. I am not 100% sold on Karstens, but I am hoping the can do okay. I really hope Snell can get back to where he was before, but I am still not sure. Then we have a couple options waiting in the wings.

I think by the middle of the year, the rotation will be our strength.

Well done sir! Any suggestions for the Powerball numbers this week?

And how about this beauty from omgarrd:

Am I REALLY the only one here who has seen enough of Zach Duke to know that he does not belong in ours or anybody's rotation?

And from that same thread, some insight from bradf:

Quote:
I got a reverse Van Benschoten once in Reno....cost me an extra fifty bucks!

I'm impressed with Animal's predictions but also with the work of BBF in researching the past to find that posting in all that BS of this spring.

I think you're over analyzing. I don't think it was intended to go past the odd last name. A "reverse Maholm" or a "reverse McLouth" just don't have the same ring.

Of course now that I've said that, bradf will probably come and give some detailed, intricate explanation and make me feel stupid.

Not really....I just thought a reverse Van BenSchoten sounded kinda dirty. It's the Beavis in me. "Heh, heh....he said van BenSchoten...heh, heh"

See if I ever listen to you again!

5, 6, 12, 16 and 21. The Powerball was 7

I don't think you win anything with 2 out of 6.

21 is always in it. I always play 21 and i usually get atleast 1. 2 out of 6 gets you $3 if 1 of your 2 is the powerball number.

I was at a gig in Waynesburg last summer and had to stop to get gas for the trip home.
It was going for 11 pm on a Saturday and asked the clerk if I could still get a Power Ball ticket for tonight's drawing, he looked at the machine and said yes. So I get 2 tickets and drive home...
I get up Sunday Morning and look up the numbers...
I had all of them on one ticket and 2 on the other...I'm getting ready to make a list of all the people I'm ready to tell kiss it, then double checked everything on the ticket, when he printed the tickets it switched for the next drawing day...
I had all the numbers for Saturday's drawing but the ticket was for Wednesday...
