Since that awful start, Andy LaRoche is hitting .317 with a .382 OBP. The power hasn't been there, but not too bad.

How many times is that now that McLouth has been hit by a pitch this season?

Geez, Nyger looked like Loopus on that "triple" by Guzman.

Maholm doesn't have his stuff again. This is becoming commonplace. But he is still pitching good enough to win. It's weird.

More fly outs than ground out.

I noticed that. The camera framed in on the ball and no one was there for 10 seconds while the ball stood still in the corner.

But he sure has been an awful base runner.

Was just about to write that this inning could/should be a big one...then Andy gets thrown out.

Caught a bad break that inning. At least Maholm made it a 7-pitch AB.

And Belliard follows up with an 11-pitch AB to draw the BB. Damn.

The good news is that we usually find ways to lose games like this one however the Nats are probably better at it.

Okay, now that makes no sense JR. Why not bring Grabow in to face Dunn? Why putz around with the scared Sean Burnett? And Grabow is facing all righties here. Really weird.

Young 5-12 as PH. Pretty good.

Sorry Twilight Boy. But this is the right call with your two best hitters coming up in a tie game on the road. And the bunt failed because Morgan failed, not JR.

Good thing he wasted two good pitches in that AB trying to bunt.

Surprised Acta stays with Hanrahan against Moss.

Of course I just realised Beimel is his only righty.

In an incredibly shocking turn of events, Moss bounces harmlessly to first.
