Nyjer is out tonight due to a sore hammy. Currently there is heavy rain and t-storms moving through the area, however, it looks as if this first round of rain should be ending soon. There is another line of storms and rain forming near Columbus, OH, making start time questionable.

It isn't going so well for Snell so far. He got the first 2 out then there it goes. 2-0 Rockies and Snell's pitch count is up over 30 through just 1 inning. Does anybody know a site that keeps track of pitch count, because i keep yahoo up and it keeps track of everything except pitch count?

Yes, try ESPN's Gamecast. It had Snell at 31 pitches through the first inning. Now 37, with Barmes's HR.

Another lousy start for our guys.

3-2 Rockies with 1 out and runners on second and 3rd. A fly ball ties the game.

Snell screws the team with his bad pitching and now with an infield pop-up.

Delwyn Young comes through with a huge single with 2 out. 4-3 Buccos, and they're going to a rain delay.

Here is a weather update from where i am at. I am 40 minutes west of PNC so the weather hits here then heads towards Pittsburgh. It rained here from 6:45 until 7:05 and i said i bet it hits PNC at 7:30. I was alittle off since it started there at 7:45, but i exspect the game to be back on between 8:15 and 8:30. So i think about another half hour max.

Delwyn got away with one there. He was tagged with the 2nd basemens glove against his hand before he touched.

Sean Burnett is letting me down. I've waited along time to see him get a chance in a game this early, and he's snelling it.

4-4

BBF must be watching again, because when he said he was turning it off we started playing well.

I'm getting the impression that the Pirates are becoming less patient at the plate again. They are not working the pitcher deep into the count enough. Is it just me? If it isn't, then why doesn't JR or Don Long say something DURING the game and not after a loss? :? Or do they? We need last year's offense with this year's starting pitching.

NDog goes deep to RF for a HR.
Moss crushes a double to LF
Andy LaRoche drives him in
Runners now on 1st and 3rd with no outs.....6 to 4 Bucs

Go Bucs!

I will only trust our bullpen with a 5+ run lead.
