I didn't know the fishing on the river walk was that good! I might have to drown some worms after Sunday afternoon's game.

And it looks like Yates and Co. are going to make it easy for Colorado in the 8th. Is it ever easy?

Smith left third too early on the tag-up on a liner to Morgan. Pirates contested, ump called him out. Run taken off of the board!

Was it the right call?

I don't think so but I'll take it.

Don't see that very often. Home plate umpire made the call as the third base umpire ran out to left field to make the call on the catch.

I'll take it.

1. Why take the bat out of LaRoche's hands with Diaz on second and nobody out?

2. Why green light Nate on a 3-0 count?

3. Why yank Maholm at the end of 7 with a 103 pitch count, when somebody else pitched 130 pitches earlier this year?

4. When was the last time an appeal worked on a tag up at third? Oh, one more thing, he didn't leave early.

The jury is still out on J.R.

Poor Paul. Capps blows it big time.

Something is wrong with him.

That was great.

Capps is really struggling. Way too many pitches over the middle of the plate, way too many balls just absolutely hammered. He needs to hit his spots.
